***Highcliffe Castle is now OPEN for the new season***

Saturday 1st February onwards – The Castle and shop are open: 11am – 4pm (last admission 3pm)

The Grounds of Highcliffe Castle are open to the public free of charge all year round. Grounds open daily at 7am and close at the following times:

Friday 14th February – The Castle is closed for a large private function, the shop and tearooms are open as normal.

Join a tour with one of our knowledgeable volunteer guides who will take you behind the scenes to see unrestored parts of the Castle, normally closed to the public.

Along the way you will hear anecdotes, tales and snippets of the history of the families who once lived here, whilst also gaining the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

Guided tours run daily at 12 noon (except there is no tour on a Saturday)

Parking charges apply in the Castle Car Park.


Dogs are welcome in the grounds of Highcliffe Castle. We ask that they are kept on a lead at all times. Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted inside the House, unless they are access-companions.

Season Tickets

Free entry for two people for one year including entry to frequently changing exhibitions in the library. Discounts on selection concerts, events, talks and tours. Regular communications with updates about the Castle.

Season Tickets are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
