Are you passionate about photography, history and capturing the beauty of Highcliffe Castle?

We invite you to share your best photographs of Highcliffe Castle and Grounds for a chance to be featured in our new

-2025 Highcliffe Castle Calendar-

We would love to see how you capture our site through your lens. From magnificent, awe-inspiring vistas to intriguing and overlooked details, we’re on the lookout for stunning visuals that showcase the Castle and Grounds in all their glory.

Whether you’ve explored the building, visited the grounds, or stumbled upon a hidden gem, we want to see your unique Highcliffe moments. We also want to see a range of photographs covering all seasons, so please send us your photos of spring, summer autumn and winter.

This is your opportunity to share your photographic talents with a wider audience. Your images could be adorning the walls of homes and offices throughout Dorset and the wider world in 2025

ELIGIBILITY

The contest is exclusively open to residents of any age who are not professional photographers. Only 1 entry per person. Photos cannot have been used in other competitions or publications.

ENTRY PERIOD

The photo contest begins Monday 26 February with last submissions by midnight Friday 31 May 2024. Entries submitted before or after the entry period will not be eligible.

Voting will open on Monday 10 June and will close midnight Sunday 30 June 2024.

Winners will be announced in July 2024.

WHAT TO ENTER

Highcliffe Castle is positioned within picturesque areas and we want to see it through your eyes. The title of this competition is ‘View the castle in a whole new light’.

Please submit files electronically to commercial@highcliffecastle.co.uk. We can only accept digital files for this competition – printed photos cannot be accepted. Entries should include the caption information detailed below

JUDGING

Judging will be conducted in April and images will be voted for by Castle visitors and members of the public. You can share the link for voting with your family and friends. . The competition winners will be notified in May 2024.

PRIZES

Winning photos will be featured in the official 2025 Highcliffe Castle Calendar.
Successful contributors will receive a complimentary copy of the calendar.
Highcliffe Castle will produce an exhibition showcasing the 12 winners’ images and you will be invited to a private viewing early 2025.

Copyright & Ownership

Submitting your photographs to our calendar competition will not affect your copyright or ownership of the images submitted. While you grant Highcliffe Castle the right to use your photographs for the specific purpose of inclusion in a Highcliffe Castle commercial product — the 2025 Highcliffe Castle calendar — including promotion and display in connection with the competition, we will not acquire any ownership rights. Your creative work remains yours, and you are free to showcase, sell, or license your images independently should you want to.
