There are three pay machines located in the car park. You can pay using coins or via one of the following parking apps: PayByPhone, RingGo or JustPark (downloadable prior to your visit). The machine by the public toilets accepts payment by card. The location ID is 1899.

(NB card payments are not accepted by the machine and Blue Badge Holders are still required to purchase a ticket, unless otherwise exempt. Learn More)

During good weather, we can experience a high volume of cars in our car park and we have limited spaces.

The car park can be full by 10:00 on some days.

Please ensure you plan your visit and are aware of our alternative car parks for if this is the case.

Other car park sites nearby are Steamer Point (BH23 4TA) or the Clifftop car park (BH23 5DF).

Wedding guest parking:

In the main car park there is a parking bay that will be reserved on wedding days.

For guest parking, follow the car park around the one way system until you reach the reserved bay (signposted) at the end. Here you will find a parking steward who will provide you with a permit for the duration of the wedding.

It is important that you make yourself aware of the timings on the permit as the Castle will not be liable for any parking tickets issued.
