State Dining Room - Celebration of Life
We understand that organising a Celebration of Life can be a challenging time. Our experienced team are on hand to support and guide you through the process. We can offer a discreet service to discuss the options, layout and personal touches.
The State Dining Room offers a beautiful backdrop to celebrate the life of your loved one. Whether it’s a simple cream tea or a full buffet option, our peaceful surroundings will provide a calming setting to reflect with friends and family.
We can provide the perfect function room to share your memories. The State Dining Room can accommodate up to 60 guests.
If you require a larger space, alternative times or extended hire, please speak to a member of the functions team who will be happy to advise.
State Dining Room hire includes:
- Dedicated Functions Manager
- 30 Parking Permits
- Level access
- TV and projector
- Sound bar for background music & PA system
- Personalised welcome sign
- Table cloths, napkins & glassware
- Hire available between 9am-5pm
- Exclusive use of the State Dining Room for 2 hours £600.00
- Additional room hire per hour £175.00
Castle Drinks
Tea, coffee and water is provided with all catering but you are welcome to add on additional drinks.
- Bottle of Prosecco £33
- Bottle of house red or white wine £25
- Elderflower fizz jug (6 glasses ) £16.50
- Fruit juice jug (6 glasses) £11
If you would like to provide your own drinks, a corkage fee of £5 will apply. This includes wine, fizz, beer and soft drinks. You are welcome to include your loved ones favourite tipple for a toast as part of this corkage fee.
Castle Pantry Catering
Traditional Cream Tea – £10.50 per person
Fruit or plain scones freshly baked from Shelley's Bakery, served with Clotted Cream and Jam.
Light Bites Afternoon Tea – £24.95 per person
A selection of finger sandwiches made with locally sourced bread, mini sausage rolls and filled quiche, sea salt crisps and a selection of cakes
Traditional Afternoon Tea – £29.95 per person
A selection of finger sandwiches made with locally sourced bread, freshly baked scones from our local award winning bakery, served with jam and clotted cream and a selection of cakes
All catering options include a selection of teas, freshly brewed coffee and decaffeinated
