The Great Hall
Once the impressive entrance into Lord Stuart de Rothesay’s home, the Great Hall now serves a versatile space. At over 9 metres high and 4 metres wide, our striking stained-glass Jesse Window adorns the grand Porte Cochère, providing a breathtaking backdrop for your event.
This elegant space accommodates up to 110 guests and offers flexible seating arrangements, with a choice of round or banquet tables.
Perfect for corporate events, dining and performances.




The State Dining Room
The State Dining Room is the Castle’s predominant function room. Its full length windows boast spectacular views across the grounds, sea and The Isle of Wight. Situated on the ground floor with disabled access, the State Dining Room can accommodate up to 80 delegates for meetings or private dinners. The exposed brick walls and adjustable lighting create a truly striking setting. The room has black out blinds incorporating a projection screen. Under-floor heating makes this a perfect location all year round.

The Drawing Room
Once one of the Castle’s most lavishly decorated rooms, the Drawing Room was the main place for entertaining guests. Historically the gentlemen of the house would retire here after dinner to enjoy card games and late night refreshments.
Today, the room creates an ambient and charming backdrop, perfect for your evening celebtration. Whether you choose a DJ or a live band to set the mood, the Drawing Room offers a fantastic space for your guests to dance the night away.

The Wintergarden
Once enjoyed by Lord Stuart de Rothesay and his esteemed guests, who relished the sunlight and views through the Wintergarden’s floor-to-ceiling windows, the Wintergarden is now the perfect place to host your event.
Seating up to 110, this light filled room invites guests to admire our grounds and signature sea views. Boasting high ceilings, the Wintergarden offers exceptional acoustics perfect for a string quartet, vocalists, or our baby grand piano and Bluetooth sound bar.
Perfect for dining, parties, corporate events & photoshoots.




Learning Space (First Floor)
Located on the first floor of the Castle overlooking the grounds, this room is a blank canvas and the perfect space for small meetings, training or a base when using the Castle grounds.
The room has a projector screen and black out blinds with lift access.
Perfect for smaller meetings and green room.




The Grounds
Access to the grounds and beach make Highcliffe Castle an excellent location for team building and exploration. Woodland walks, outstanding view points and excellent picnic sites make the grounds very popular. Why not incorporate them into your day before returning to the Castle for your afternoon meeting, reception drinks and dinner.
