Creatives at the Castle at Christmas

Saturday 22 November - Sunday 23 November 

Highcliffe Castle's popular Christmas market returns for another year with over 40 local traders and makers, you'll be sure to find the perfect gift for everyone.

Visitors can enjoy a festive day out at the Castle. Explore the full visitor route, beautifully dressed for Christmas, shop with local makers in the glittering State Rooms, and warm up with a mulled wine or mince pie from the Castle bar. Tickets include entry to Creatives at the Castle, admission to Highcliffe Castle and 'The Pallette of Winter's Glow' Exhibiton.

Highcliffe Castle Christmas Tree Festival 2025 

5 December - 23 December

Back for the second year running, the decorated trees will take pride of place throughout the Castle. Younger visitors can enjoy a festive story trail which will incorporate the trees contributed by local businesses, charities and individuals to create a delightful experience for all. Tickets include entry to the Castle, entry to the festival, children’s story trail and our new art exhibition presented by Hengist Group of Artists.

Day time Admission- you can visit the Castle anytime between 10am-4pm on the date your tickets are booked. Please note, last admission is at 3pm.

Evening Admission Dates- evening admission is between 5pm-8pm on the following dates:

• Friday 5 and Saturday 6 December
• Friday 12 and Saturday 13 December
• Friday 19 and Saturday 20 December
• Sunday 21, Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 December

You can arrive at any time, last admission is 7pm. More dates may be added subject to demand.

Join the Archive Team or the Salvage Team for a brilliant ‘behind the scenes’ look at our Castle Collection.

Behind the scenes with Archive: Tuesday 9 December & Tuesday 16 December.

Behind the scenes with Salvage: Thursday 11 December & Thursday 18 December. 

Ticket includes a behind the scenes talk, entry to the Castle Christmas Tree Festival and tea or coffee and a mince pie in the State Dining Room.
