Dorset & Hampshire Landscapes & Seascapes: Different Perspectives

Local artist Debbie Cowan presents an exhibition of chalk pastel drawings and photographs. Showing a colourful range of local seascapes and landscapes.
Debbie Cowan is a self-taught artist based in East Dorset.
Her work has several main themes: Beach Huts; Boats and the Sea.
Debbie has used Chalk Pastels for 12 years. Over the past two years, she has taken her work to many of the Country Shows, Craft Fairs and other Events and Festivals around Dorset and Hampshire - as well as further afield.
She said: "I have many wonderful memories associated with the Sea and the Beach and I aim to share these in my work."
Debbie says: “My photographs reflect a real passion for the Dorset Coast - from pictures of Mudeford, Sandbanks, Studland and Brownsea Island to close ups of Boats, Lighthouses, Sand, Pebbles, Rocks, Seaweed, Wind Surfers and all things in between.”
